In place, the President/CEO gambled his own career by firmly taking such a risk on a convicted felon and publicly acknowledged alcoholic pilot. In another stunning event, the judge who attempted, sentenced, and delivered him to jail watched his quest and reappeared eight years following the trial. He became the driving a vehicle drive behind a Presidential pardon although he'd never reinforced a petition for pardon in every his years on the bench. Lyle retired honorably as a 747 captain for the flight he'd so horribly humiliated and disgraced. He lives with his wife of 53 years and has five grandchildren. He proceeds to work with all the major airlines in their alcohol programs.
