The hotel's private beach was pristine; its waters a deep turquoise and its guests made up of the stunning people for whom money was no subject. It was an atmosphere of luxury; where time was assessed in intervals before next meals and afternoon siestas became gatherings for unique sex with a myriad of partners. The sands were dotted with clusters of recliners, padded deeply and monogrammed with "E" - the logo design for the resort Estrella, or star. Latino music subtly drifted between the gatherings as the undercurrent of chat occurred in a dozen dialects. High above the beach, a drone installed with a long-range lens and camera lofted in the Estrella resort. It got a quest, but that could only be known by its owner. If it was removed, there would be no path, no identity. It was programmed to recognize a specific set of facial features, and once recognized, the drone would travel out in the Gulf coast of florida and self-destruct, having directed the images it searched for by satellite television to home bottom part. Possibly the most unique feature of the drone was that it used a disguise. Those who happened to look up as it handed would only see the delicate, flapping wings of any seagull. This sort of technology came at a cost, but then so did the information it sought. There is only one man willing to pay for this, but for him, there was no price too much. He would give his very life to know.
