Jordan B. Peterson is a Canadian professional medical psychologist, cultural critic, and teacher of psychology at the University or college of Toronto. His main regions of research are in unnatural, social, and personality psychology, with a particular fascination with the psychology of spiritual and ideological perception and the assessment and improvement of personality and performance. Peterson was raised in Fairview, Alberta. He gained a BA level in political technology in 1982 and a diploma in psychology in 1984, both from the University or college of Alberta, and his PhD in professional medical psychology from McGill University or college in 1991. He continued to be at McGill as a post-doctoral fellow for two years before moving to Massachusetts, where he functioned as an associate and an associate teacher in the psychology office at Harvard University or college. In 1998, he transferred to the University or college of Toronto as a complete professor. He authored Maps of Meaning: The Architecture of Belief in 1999, a work which examined several academic domains to spell it out the composition of systems of beliefs and myths and their role in the rules of sentiment, creation of interpretation, and motivation for genocide. His second publication, 12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos, premiered in January 2018. In 2016, Peterson released a series of videos on his YouTube channel in which he criticized politics correctness and the Canadian government's Expenses C-16. He eventually received significant mass media coverage.
