Neil Munro (1863-1930) was a Scottish journalist, publication editor, author and literary critic who's now mainly known for his funny short experiences. 'The Tudor Glass' is an amusing tale based on stereotypes. Two crooked London fine art dealers are placed on swindling an eccentric Scottish Laird of a very important artefact in his collection: a Tudor glass of silver. A similar cup had sold recently at Sotheby's for a little fortune. But the canny Scot perceives right through the swindle and manages to double-cross the duo quite ingeniously.
