I have had the beautiful privilege of launching Einstein's theory of relativity to thousands of college students in my Introduction to Beliefs programs at Mt. San Antonio College and in my upper division course on Research and Religious beliefs at California Talk about University or college, Long Beach. Although Einstein's principle is difficult to grasp at first, given enough time and review it becomes easier to understand as time passes. In this respect, I have always found Hendrik Lorentz's popular advantages to the topic very helpful. It is my hope that my students (past and future) can benefit from a close reading of this extremely insightful text.
