About 1991, I had been living in an extra room in my own sister's house. She was having a hard time and would soon be retailing her house. I put worked so hard and for such a long time, and I came across myself having no money, plus there were gossips of big layoffs in the olive oil industry. My best estimate was 90 days, and I would have to declare my part of the I-10 overpass to beg for food. It was an unhealthy situation, but it wasn't fair. My whole complete thinking process needed to be wrong. I started out writing my autobiography before I began presenting my money conversation, while teaching safe practices training classes for oilfield employees, and I needed to create both books, so I just merged them. This book was written for my children and grandchildren, but if anyone else locates it interesting, then good. I just have no idea why God chose to bless me much. This book is my assurance to him.
