Chapel from the Eyes of the Saint captures the real-life religious growth of a African American girl residing in the South within a four-year period, from the age of 25 to 30. Each chapter recaps the author's transition from a lifestyle of religious bondage into the religious awakening of her religious giftings and her true personality to include the prophetic realm. She offers accounts of different encounters she has possessed within different cathedral ministries and some recaps of youth encounters that helped her increase and identify with her newfound personality in Christ as a saint (one set in place apart). Each chapter has its lesson that was discovered through the author's various accounts brought up, but through each lesson the author induces her listeners to seek God further in their own religious walks, encourages those to find and accept their religious giftings, encourages those to learn God for themselves, and inspires those to have faith in Christ in their religious walks after salvation. The book's target audience is more mature listeners which range from early on 20s to later 30s. The author will take the listener on her journey as she transitions in one church denomination to another (COGIC to nondenominational) so that as she transitions spiritually from the original roots of cathedral to nontraditional root base while being spiritually guided by the Holy Nature. However, the writer begins with her experience in a denominational cathedral where her religious journey and transition began to take place.
