Lives, is in love with, and loyalties must fight for survival inside our fictional history that commences around the time of the potato famine in 1845. Two baby males are born in an area doctor's house at around the same time of day. An example may be the son of the lady of the manor, the other is the son of a Irish peasant female whose partner works for god, the father of the manor. After a couple of extremely tough years and a heart and soul wrenching search, the mother of the peasant young man agrees to place their son in a convent, with the hope that the child will live through the famine. The other lad lives a privileged life, but to the annoyance of his parents, likes mixing with locals. He is delivered away to Eton School in Great britain, and whilst he's in England there is a romantic participation, which springs an important shock to him later in his life. A major making point is the loss of life of god, the father of the manor, which demands the young man's go back. Because of his Eton recognition, he has made close friendships with two important characters. An example may be the son of any Scottish horse-stud owner, the other the son of a overseas office diplomat. There is an underlying conflict throughout the storyplot with the Young Irish Protection, the Fenian movement, and the control of British landlords. Both main protagonists are not ever incompatible, but there are several vitally important individuals that are. At the end of the first novella of the series, there is a second twist to add to the revelation of if the babies were turned at birth.
