Episode 2: Sheila never likely to meet America's first princess, but Irene Daco is hosting a supper, and Jasira has asked Sheila to come. That decision would be so much easier if the nature of her marriage with Jasira were clear. When Sheila agrees to travel, she discovers her principled opposition to dynasty rule challenged by the items she discovers in the wonderful world of America's royal houses. Does indeed Jasira support the dynasties and their effect upon the federal government she addresses? Or is she, like Sheila, working to turn the country away from modern day feudalism and back to democracy? They are the first two episodes of the serial The American Fathers.
