Using its eccentric shape, tacked on just like a long medieval shoe to Southern Great britain, Cornwall is not easy and simple shape of a location to research. I began by driving a vehicle north to Kilkhampton and Morwenstow, then south via Bude to Bodmin and Padstow. Following that I changed east to Launceston, browsing Antony and St Germans near the Tamar Valley, and right down to Looe and St Austell. The centre of Cornwall disclosed the working face of mining towns such as Bugle and Camborne, their clusters of Victorian terraced cottages built around great quarries and commercial sites. My road across the southern peninsula helped bring me past some fantastic areas of the coastline; the uncompromised rocky panorama of Sennen and St Just, or the wonderful flower stuffed vale of Lamorna and the remarkable headland from the Lizard. Cornwall is similar to another country, carrying its own culture and background, though its energy will keep it continue in a present reality. It provides a blissful escape and equally opens itself to enterprise and new cable connections.
