(From "Blue Light White") Phenomenally Me is the first collection from Kansas-born DARK-COLORED poet Sarah J. Heidelberg, and a energetic and impressive compilation it is; by converts mental and thoughtful, joyful and melancholy, blending the discipline and technique of formal lyric verse with the brashness and daring of performance poetry. The 102 poems of the reserve, written from 2000-2009, are grouped in seven parts. The first of 27 poems is titled "Encounters With Love". I could hear the moldy figs of the poetry establishment now. "Love poetry? How trite!"
