Just before and at the start of the US Civil War, Indian territory was an untamed lawless place filled up with Indians, outlaws teamsters, farms, cities folks, and homes of ill repute. I do not think about this work of historical fiction to be a war reserve, though occur the Civil War era. It is more about the people that resided in those times and their life-style.
