A Little Princess is a 1905 children's book by Frances Hodgson Burnett. It is a modified and extended version of Burnett's 1888 serialized book entitled Sara Crewe; Or, What Took place at Pass up Minchin's, that was released in St. Nicholas Magazine. Relating to Burnett, she have been composing a play predicated on the story when she discovered a lot of character types she had skipped. The publisher asked her to publish a new, modified report of the novella, producing the book. Based on a 2007 online poll, the National Education Association known as the reserve one of its "Teachers' Top 100 Catalogs for Children." It had been one of the "Top 100 Section Books" ever in a 2012 poll by University Library Journal.
