Rev. Dr. Vic Scalise is an Eagle Scout and American Baptist minister. Vic went to Mount Hermon College in Northfield, MA and Colby College in Waterville, ME. After graduating with a B.A. ever sold, he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Make and offered for 3 years in the Air Make during the Korean Conflict. 2 yrs were put in at Yokota Air Make Base near Tokyo, Japan. While there, in addition to being a Photo Reconnaissance Official, he taught courses in American Background, Rate Reading, and Public Speaking to servicemen. He conducted educational exchanges with the English Speaking Culture at Waseda University. Upon his return to Lowell, MA, he enrolled at Andover Newton Theological College. Over a period of 10 years, he earned his Bachelor's in Theology, Master's in Pastoral Good care, and Doctorate in Supervision. In addition, he took courses at Boston University Graduate College of Education, Yale Divinity College, The University of Chicago and graduated from this program for Management Development at the Harvard Graduate College of Business. While portion for 17 years in his first pastorate at the Baptist Cathedral in Brookline and the United Parish in Brookline, Pastor Vic was one of the chief architects of this United Parish. His publication, Merging for Mission (Judson Press) explains to the story of this ecumenical grassroots ministry. For twelve years, Dr. Scalise offered as Leader of New Great britain Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences, Boston, Massachusetts. He lectured thoroughly in the united states on dying, fatality, and bereavement, and founded the National Center for Fatality Education. He offered the National Funeral Directors Connection as a source of information person so that as their chaplain at nationwide gatherings for ten years. He was an on-call chaplain for 40 years at Children's Clinic in Boston, one of the most rewarding experiences of his life.
