The last text he previously received from his wife before the cell towers transpired advised him she was trapped in a high-rise in downtown Atlanta and their kid is at detention, stranded in the basement of the institution he went to. Gunny just wanted to drop the hammer, grab some guns, and blast his way directly into rescue them, but responsibility called.
