This Vampire story made an appearance in the 1927 issue of "Weird Tales" but a good account never ages and this one is a very good one. A large stranger at an afternoon tea interests Jules de Grandin. He learns of the man's ferocious actions during the warfare from the Turks and notices his unusually hairy palms. Soon de Grandin and his good friend Dr. Trowbirdge are called after to treat a young man's mysterious health issues. Following through to an ancient legend of "Sarah", then they learn of an old, old man accosting teenagers. When Sgt. Costello can stop by for somewhat of advice in regards to a missing young woman, Jules position the pieces collectively and the trio races to prevent an awful tragedy.
