Dracula is an 1897 Gothic horror book by Irish writer Bram Stoker. Abraham "Bram" Stoker (1847-1912) was an Irish writer, best known today for his 1897 Gothic book, Dracula. During his lifetime, he was better known as the personal assistant of acting professional Henry Irving and of the business enterprise administrator of the Lyceum Theatre in London, which Irving owned.
