Eastern European countries, 1944: Three women believe that they are really pregnant, but are torn from other husbands before they can be certain. The gas chamber works out of Zyklon-B, so that the Allied soldiers near, the SS flee. Against all odds, the three mothers and their newborns survive their treacherous voyage to freedom.
