The Egyptians were a visionary people. That they had Seers, what they called "Peter" in Egyptian. What scholars make reference to as myths are the truth is prophesies and therefore can be known as scripture. One such prophesy is due to the Egyptian god Osiris. The Greek historian Plutarch wrote about the fatality of Osiris beyond the actual Egyptian texts do. In his profile Osiris was the ruler of Egypt. The storyplot is at least as old as the Pyramid Text messages of ancient Egypt dating back to the 24th century BCE. It does not have any hieroglyphic picture to accompany the written text. It is merely text. And yet it could be translated according to the different levels like the other hieroglyphs in my own Egyptian Scripture series. This tale is among the most important to the Egyptian people. Travis Wayne Goodsell retells the storyline, then makes a translation of each level for each and every of the key features of the storyline, then finishes with a scriptural translation based on the level translations.
