Inspired by a genuine story. On Holiday Eve, 1971, Airline flight 153 departed from Houston, Tx, hauling 140 people destined for Rio de Janeiro. Airline flight 153 never reached its destination. It appeared to vanish into thin air. The airplane is swept up in a big thunderstorm and is required to veer a huge selection of mls off course and crashes in the jungle roughly 10 miles west of the Xingu River. The Xingu River is 900 mls long, infested with alligators, snakes, and blood vessels sucking insects, man-eating seafood and hostile Indians. An anthropologist, a female exec headhunter, a car or truck salesman, an embezzling lawyer, a Catholic nun, a Hispanic construction worker, a coffee bean salesman, a pilot, two older women, and a US Marine just coming back from the battle in Vietnam survived the crash. Their success equipment contains a rescue raft, several machetes, a flair gun, and simple medical equipment. Only the Marine, Billy Sunday, has experienced the jungle before. Billy, who is suffering from survivor's guilt and flashback of the Vietnam Conflict, would struggle to lead the band of misfit survivors from the jungle alive.
