A whole lot lizard is a lady hooker who works a highway truck stop as her place. When trucker Invoice Ketter looks for a little leisure and release, he discovers, too late, that he has bitten off more than he is able to chew. In fact, his lot lizard is the the one which will the biting. She is a vampire, one of lots who move in one truck stop to the next under the watchful and vicious eyes of the repulsive Carsey Brothers. Against his will, Invoice becomes one of the undead. He practices the brothers and their cargo to another stop where he complies with his ex-wife and children, and Invoice finds himself fighting the vampires and their age-old head for the life span of his teenaged son. Garton has generated another small masterpiece, modern-day adult horror at its most gruesome and loaded with extra dosages of sex and gore. The limited setting creates a perfect claustrophobic stage for the story and the hellaciously quick rate never let us the action slow down.
