To numerous, the name Carl Switzer doesn't ring a bell; the name Alfalfa, however, does. As Alfalfa, the freckle-faced child with an unmanageable cowlick, Switzer acquired movie fame in the Our Gang comedies of the early 1930s. He later became known to a new technology of children when the Hal Roach motion pictures were reissued to tv set under the title THE TINY Rascals.
