That Jesus of Nazareth (ca. 4 BC-30 CE) was crucified is the closest to a historical truth anyone can say about him. Biblical scholars have spent centuries debating the facts of what Jesus have and said, but this crude truth - that Jesus experienced capital punishment as a result of the Roman expert by crucifixion - is accepted by the overpowering most scholars. That there once was a combination where Jesus experienced and perished is, therefore, the sequential logical affirmation. Jesus's future was not uncommon. Indeed, a great many other Jews perished were nailed to a real wood combination on the outskirts of Jerusalem (thousands, in line with the historian Josephus, who was an eyewitness to the great Jewish revolt against Rome). The combination, symbolic of inability and shame for those who died on it and their families, was considered, from the dawn of Christianity, as the climactic second in the career of its Messiah: his crucifixion and the ascension to his throne as the true king of the Jews. Hence, once the persecution against Christianity was over, and after enough time had transferred, those who had been interested, began to search for the reality in the evidence. To have the ability to look at, contemplate, kiss, or preferably take home a piece of the True Combination of Jesus, became the obsession of believers, kings, and emperors similarly. According to Gospel narrative, along with the combination and the Holy Grail, another object has preserved an enigmatic and disturbing presence throughout record: the Spear of Longinus, that of the Roman soldier who pierced Jesus's part. The True Combination was a relic for restoration and protection, but the spear, relating to tale, was predestined for battle and conquest.
