Download Hiking Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine: 49 Day Challenge to Hike 12 Greatest Sections of A.T. AudioBook Free
It was 1994, on my 23rd birthday, when my father gave me an envelope which I figured will be a gift license for something outside the house or even a golf club discount. But to my surprise, it was an airfare ticket to Atlanta! I got utterly perplexed. But that distress soon converted into huge enthusiasm when he said, "We are going to hike the Appalachian Trail in under 50 days. Get ready son." I was excited, and I asked him why he hadn't ever before hiked this trail. He said he'd always got the dream of hiking it beside me. In his words, "I saved the best for you." That was a trip I will never forget. I think thus far that is one of most fun and exciting things I've ever before done. We could actually finish off it in 49 days, too. Both of us were very pleased with each other. Soon after that trip, my father was diagnosed with a serious case of arthritis. Even though the doctors said it was not because of that trip, they think it was way too many hiking vacations through many abrasive and durable terrains that added to his condition. When I at first had the idea to write a guidebook about how to hike on the fantastic Appalachian Trail, initially, I thought I will just write it like a journal of whatever we did. But my father explained that may not help every listener. He advised that I will write it like a guidebook that can help anyone from a starter to an advanced hiker. This way we cover a wide selection of hikers. Which means this e book is not about my walking vacations, but yours. My main concentrate in this e book is to get you familiarized with the trail and get you well prepared for it. This book is truly a guidebook which is split into two parts where I start off with some basic facts and information about the fantastic Appalachian Trail, then give my listeners an obvious overview of the trail in every region and point out it crosses. Next, I speak about how to begin with walking the Appalachian Trail, along with all different options like a day hike, multi-day hike, and through hike. Next, I spoke in what to anticipate on the trail, the type of support and help is out there, how weather make a difference your walking, and what wildlife you have to be aware of. Then I discuss ways to find sanitation, restrooms, showers, etc. on the trail, and how to approach various conditions while on the trail. Next up is how you will should pack, what gear you will need, how to plan a through-hike, and how to actually get yourself started this amazing trip. In the next part of the book, I discuss how to hike each section day by day and what you may expect, what you need to be looking for, and what you need to be familiar with on each section of your hike. After walking through the fantastic Appalachian Trail double, I can assure you it can be done. No, it is not a monumental job, but yes, it will take effort and a solid willingness to undergo with it. I know easily could take action, anyone can.
