When a series of disorders against women on her behalf beat are blown off by solidified detectives, Boston police sergeant Traci Ross launches her own inspection. Her instincts tell her something differs about the crimes. Her lieutenant feels otherwise. Soon, police departments in other large northeast metropolitan areas are encountering an outbreak of similar disorders.
