A serial killer is on the loose in NORTH PARK, and he has a most different M.O.: with each wipe out, he leaves behind items with unclear meanings. Most of the recent killings are focused near Kendra Michaels' home and office, so it comes as no great delight when the FBI shows up at her door. The investigators soon make a startling discovery: the left-behind items are actually souvenirs of other unsolved serial murder conditions in various US cities. Along with the new conditions feature "holdback" characteristics of the other murders undiscovered to everyone. Kendra realizes that the killer has come to issue and taunt her. The investigators become his latest targets, even as Kendra slowly starts to think that one of them will be the killer himself.
