Anne of Green Gables is a 1908 book by Canadian publisher Lucy Maud Montgomery (released as L. M. Montgomery). Written for any ages, it's been considered a children's book since the mid-20th hundred years. It recounts the escapades of Anne Shirley, an 11-year-old orphan woman who's mistakenly delivered to Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert, a middle-aged brother and sister who experienced intended to take up a son to help them on the farm in the fictional town of Avonlea on Prince Edward Island. The book recounts how Anne makes her way with the Cuthberts, in college, and within the town. Since its publication, Anne of Green Gables has sold more than 50 million copies and has been translated into at least 36 dialects. Montgomery published numerous sequels, and since her loss of life, another sequel has been released, as well as a certified prequel. The original book is educated to students across the world. The e book has been modified as videos, made-for-television videos, and animated and live-action television set series. Musicals and takes on are also created, with productions annually in Canada since 1964 of the first musical production, which includes toured in Canada, the United States, Europe, and Japan.
