Thomas Anstey Guthrie (1856-1934) was an British novelist and journalist who published his comic books and humorous short testimonies under the pseudonym F. Anstey. 'The Magic H's' is a funny tale of a, rich, entitled and attractive young aristocrat: Harald Hipperholme. Tragically, the young man suffers a speech impediment - he's struggling to pronounce the letter H - which in polite London culture amounts to social loss of life. The young earl looks similar to a Cockney without his H's. He resorts in the first location to elocution lessons but with no success. Then he tries dark magic and conjures up a demon who agrees to help him. But of course there is a terrible catch to the offer....
