A. J. Alan was the pseudonym of Leslie Harrison Lambert (1883-1941), an British magician, intelligence official, short story article writer and radio broadcaster. He was hugely popular in the '20s and '30s for his radio broadcasts, when he performed his own funny and often macabre short tales, which he always supplied wearing full nighttime dress. 'The Picture' is a brief story in regards to a photographer who is hired to consider pictures of an old historical house. If the negatives are developed, there are a few strange and incredibly eerie images on the film....
