In book one, retired police lieutenant Don Hardwood stumbles upon a new form of marketing communications he phone calls ParaCW while tinkering around in his ham radio shack. Term from it gets out which draws the eye of the FCC and, eventually, the FBI. After a second and a third visit from these two government agencies, all appears to go well until one of the Wood's Doberman Pinscher's makes his way to avoid it of the home and mind towards FCC Agent Larry Turner. The agent panics and pulls a weapon from under his coat then shoots and eliminates their dog, which leaves the Woods devastated. As book one closes, Don receives a telephone call from the other browsing FCC Agent, Sean Carrick, who now believes the federal government is overreaching its expert. Before, FBI Agent Watkins would keep his longtime good friend FCC Agent Carrick informed on situations they worked mutually. This time, nothing at all. In book two, it'll be exposed why FBI Agent Watkins needs Don's ParaCW and the measures he will decide on get it.
