Jamal Doman has his own style of comedy, which he refers to as "sophisticated ghetto". Jamal says, "My comedy is much like my personality. I'm from the hood, but I have some sophistication to me." Called "a comedian's comedian" by his peers, Jamal is poised on the brink of stardom. Jamal may be rough around the ends, but he is genuine at the primary, and the audience relates to him. A Philadelphia local, Jamal was created into a family where comedy reigned supreme. His parents, whom Jamal credits for his or her unconditional support of his comedic efforts, were huge followers of Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, and Robert Klein. After his first face with Murphy's Natural, Jamal was compelled to give his own stand-up chops a try; he moved into a skill show and has been moving full acceleration ahead ever since. In 1998 Jamal made the move to LA, where he quickly became an industry favorite. Soon after his arrival in Hollywood, Jamal started making appearances on stand-up comedy TV shows including Comics Unleashed, Choice Comicview, Martin Lawrence 1st Amendment, Latino Have fun Happening, Showtime at the Apollo, Who Wants to Time a Comedian, and Funny Central Laff Riots. Not content with conquering the stage and Television set, Jamal placed his sights on both film and the Internet. Over the course of his career, he starred in the videos Repos, The Greatest Track, and Avenues. He in addition has solidified his reputation as a web sensation, along with his videos amassing thousands of views and his "JUICY T. - Qualified Pimp" webisodes, which are actually popular classics. He has a new podcast titled The Baldheads with Comedian Tobe Hixx. Jamal is a US armed forces favorite, having performed for our troops in Guam, South Korea, Iceland, Japan, Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Iraq. Jamal says, "Performing for the troops is one of the joys of being in this business". With almost three decades in the overall game, the best is yet to come for Jamal Doman.
