Elementary-school educator Jane Aaron cancels her summer season vacation ideas and mind to Cedar Springs, Tx, to find her beginning mother. While there, she's chosen by Asher Price, a wealthy widower, to look after his 13-year-old little princess, Riley, and five-year-old child, Levi. Around town, Jane also hears gossips that an more aged woman was killed in the same car accident that stated Asher's wife. As Jane discovers herself growing mounted on the children, she discovers how a woman will come to love children she didn't give beginning to, exactly as her adoptive mother will need to have done. Equally she and Asher are slipping in love, Jane suspects that Asher's past due wife might actually have been her mother. With this possible bizarre coincidence between them, neither feels comfortable going after a marriage, and Jane goes back home to her teaching job in Houston broken-hearted. But after she discovers that her beginning mother was the other female killed in the mishap, Jane returns to Cedar Springs - which time, Asher, Riley, and Levi won't let Jane leave town.
