It is estimated that for every one individual who writes a letter or attends a meeting, there are 1000 who agree. In the event the Atlanta group was any indicator, the question is real and troubling. Why is it that many live with silent hesitation, many going out of the "evangelical collapse" for another thing? Is there something amiss with the message, the communicator, the hearer...or is it all three? It's time to ask the hard questions of what it means to be always a follower of Jesus Christ and just why it seems as though God has managed to get so hard to keep believing.
