But she has to scramble for work which is soon embroiled in creating a campaign video tutorial for a metal magnate jogging for a Republican chair in the Illinois Senate. Despite these distractions, Ellie stays focused on her odd link to the dead man and changes to her dad, a retired lawyer with deep roots in Chicago's Jewish community, for insights in to the puzzle of Ben Sinclair. In time, a terrifying situation develops that grows to back into several pasts. Through the politics present of the North Shore to the buried memories of the city's cultural neighborhoods, the the different parts of Ben's storyline eventually combine into an explosive climax. An Eyesight for Murder was nominated for an Anthony Honor (Best First), which is one of the very most prestigious awards in the puzzle community.
