"I am a survivor of horrific physical and mental misuse inflicted on me by the one person in my own life that was supposed to love and protect me and educate me from wrong. I am a fighter because I did so not allow my past to dictate my future and I fought for years to successfully defeat the demons left from my years as a child. I spent my entire life punishing myself for the serves of my mother. I spent years trying frantically to determine why she was the way she was and what I could did so wrong to make her hate me a whole lot. My journey to defeat my years as a child demons was difficult and unpleasant; but in the end, I came to the realization that my past is what it is and it was up to me to choose my future. "I composed my first e book, Why Me?, in an attempt to open up the world's eyes to the misuse I endured as a kid. It had been my hope that just one person would get something positive and inspirational out of my story and realize that there are a lot of 'us' out there. "I used to be overcome by the response to my first e book; I couldn't believe more and more people acquired something out of my little story, and the e-mails I acquired from readers were just amazing. I came to the realization that I needed to tell the others of my story and show everyone what I endured to finally be able to relax and say, 'It is what it is.'
