The sisters will try to get to know Dina, hint the Bureau is thinking about a meeting, and offer her with a safe way to contact them. Though the setting is lovely and the inn is all that Retta thought, things quickly go south. Murder, kidnapping, and a mystical plot involving Dina's fashion show plunge Faye and Retta into danger. The sisters are segregated from one another and threatened with death if indeed they don't cooperate. Retta locates it hard being isolated and only. Faye must decide which people around her are opponents and which are innocent retreat attendees. Sensing trouble, Barb shows up, but she soon faces a decision between being shot and drowning in Grand Traverse Bay. It doesn't seem possible that three sisters can survive the dream-weekend-turned-nightmare. Still, this is the fifth Sleuth Sisters adventure, and listeners know these women don't quit easily.
