Moving into a fresh home can become quite difficult. For David, it's the matter of juggling a fresh job, a mistress and a family at home. For Terry, it's the matter of making her new house into a home and recovering from a nervous malfunction. For Tyler, it's the stress of any five-year-old trying to match into a fresh neighborhood with no friends. A move could be very difficult on a child, so much so that a way for the child to cope is with an imaginary friend. This is where THE PEOPLE come in. You observe Tyler not only has one imaginary good friend but a complete band of imaginary friends that call themselves THE PEOPLE. Tyler meets THE PEOPLE the 1st day he steps into his new room. When Terry, Tyler's mom, realizes about THE PEOPLE she becomes concerned. Terry's family, friends and even her own therapist notify her that it is a healthy way for Tyler to handle the move. However, when accidental deaths begin that occurs and Tyler, along with his imaginary People, happens to know more than they need to, Terry commences to ponder that possibly the Folks are not so healthy in the end!
