Thomas Kilbride is a map-obsessed schizophrenic so afflicted that he rarely leaves the self-imposed bastion of his bedroom. Thomas's sibling, Ray, takes care of him, preparing for him, interacting with the exterior world on his behalf, and listening to his intricate and progressively paranoid ideas. When Thomas says Ray what he has seen, Ray humors him with a half-hearted investigation. But Ray soon realizes he and his sibling have stumbled onto a fatal conspiracy.
