Don't get me wrong; immortality does have its benefits. Take dieting for example - kind of difficult to do when you've only got two options: fresh blood and just a little less fresh blood. The media helps it be all out to be attractive. Romantic, even. But the books, videos and witty television shows own it wrong. Especially the ones that make a large to-do about not being wrong (you know, the ones that spell vampire Vampyr, like it's original).And don't think for a second which i was turned in a few amazing, soul-binding, body-meshing way either. I don't think my sex drive is destroyed enough to forget that kind of rendezvous. Though, in all honesty, I don't remember anything about it. As soon as you're turned, as soon as anyone is changed, the capabilities that be dash in like see protection agencies and whisk you off, never to see your loved ones or friends again. Your life changes in ways you never thought that it could. Like the proven fact that I used to be kidnapped last night. Totally didn't notice that coming. Now, since Brain Creep removed the dosing disc from my arm, whether I had formed anything to do with it or not, I'm guilty of betraying High Coven. This truth not only sucks (pun designed), this means I am condemned to loss of life. An assassin... condemned to loss of life. Feels like kind of shitty package if you ask me. I don't caution that Brain Creep is hot enough that he offers Religious Bale a run for his money. He boasts that Icarus is part of some large conspiracy, that vampires are a perverse mutation of beings from another world, which Trinity (along with some dark military he's supposedly responsible for) ideas to exterminate the human race. Naturally, he says this will appear in less than a week. And damn, wouldn't you know he'd kidnap me on day six of my dosage?
