When the Black Dragon seized the Deep of Ylferdun, young Gareth braved the much Winterlands to find John Aversin, Dragonsbane - the one living man ever to slay a dragon. In the end, Aversin, Jenny, and Gareth needed to steal away during the night to challenge Morkeleb, most significant and wisest of dragons. But that was only the beginning of the perils they need to face.
