Say you're a period traveller and you've already toured the entirety of history. After a while, the exterior world might lose a little of its luster. That is why this time traveller celebrates his birthday partying with himself. Each year, he travels for an left behind hotel in New York City in 2071, the hundredth anniversary of his beginning, and refreshments 12-year-old Scotch (a lot than it) with all the other editions of who he has been and who he'll be. Sure, the party is the same year after year, but at least it's one party where he can really, well, be himself. The entire year he changes 39, though, the party takes a stressful convert for the worse. Before he even helps it be in to the grand ballroom for a drink he encounters the body of his 40-year-old home, dead of any gunshot wound to the head. As the elderly editions of himself at the party point out, the onus is on him to determine what went incorrect - he has twelve months to avoid himself from being murdered, or they're all goners. As he employs clues that he might or might not exactly have willingly left for himself, he discovers rampant paranoia and suspicion among his more youthful selves, and a scary conspiracy on the list of Elders. Most complicated of most is a haunting girl - possibly named Lily - who arises at the party this season, the first person aside from himself he's ever seen there. For the first time, he has something to reduce. Here's hoping they can save some version of his own life.
