On an early on October day, Psyekoff, the right hand-man to Lieutenant Marcus Ivanovitch Klausoff, informs the inspector of law enforcement that he suspects Klausoff has been murdered. Immediately, the inspector and his team check out Klausoff's home to investigate the problem. After examining the outside of the house, the inspector delivers term to the magistrate, requesting him to come research the case. Once the magistrate and his assistant arrive, they check Klausoff's room, and then find that he's not in there. His door is locked, but his screen is clearly wide open. As the magistrate and his assistant look for and find clues, the associate begins to piece together a story describing what happened. Predicated on the data, he thinks Klausoff was strangled, applied for through the screen, hit on the head, and then disposed of anywhere. He also thinks three people were involved in the murder. The magistrate is not persuaded of this particular theory, but he commences questioning Klausoff's personnel. Soon, he and his associate consider they find two of the three people involved. One of the clues, a security match within Klausoff's room, the associate believes will lead them to the third murderer. Anton Chekhov (1860-1904) was a Russian article writer most widely known for his works and short reports. During his life-time, he published hundreds of brief reports, which utilize simple prose and limited literary ways to get to the heart of the characters.
