In the same way the first wave of traveling saucer sightings ended in the summertime of 1947, the military services began a project to investigate those information. For 22 years, mid-air Force attempted to learn what it could about the phenomena they called UFOs. During those years, they looked into more than 12,000 sightings including landings, occupant information, photographs, radar circumstances, and intercepts by military services jet fighters. In most cases plausible explanations were advanced, but almost 1,000 sightings were marked as unidentified. More importantly, some information are tagged with labels that don't fit the reality. Too many witnesses were ignored, too much data was overlooked, too much misinformation was tacked on so that convenient labels could be fastened.
