It comforts me to learn that Jesus promises us curing for the shattered hearted. Even in the darkest of situations there exists hope. I have walked through some dark days and difficult circumstances yet Christ has taken healing to my entire life. I have written this publication to share with you the journey God has taken me on plus some of the various tools He used to bring therapeutic and lasting independence. Isaiah 61:1 says, "The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the indegent. He has directed me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim independence for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners." And yet, your way to healing might not look exactly like mine. We are all uniquely created with different backgrounds and life circumstances. Therefore, I really do not imagine there is just one step-by-step system. However, in this publication, I will share with you functional steps you can connect with your life to receive healing emotionally and spiritually. Please do not feel like you must do each and every step which i share with you. Instead, I encourage that you pray and ask God for wisdom. Ask Him showing you which specific steps you should undertake your way to therapeutic, and then, take that first rung on the ladder. "A journey of one thousand miles begins with an individual step."
