Moni, the goat youngster, was an extremely cheerful son who enjoyed his job and his flock with all his heart. When young Paula first encounter's Moni's jubilant mother nature and happy melody, she actually is captivated by his happiness and becomes his friend. Moni spends every day up in the mountains with the goats and has a particularly special connection to a kid named Maggerli. 1 day, Moni incurs a youngster from another town who has learned a beautiful diamonds mix and the youngster explains to Moni that if he helps to keep his technique about the gross, he will buy Maggerli for Moni to save her from fatality. Moni challenges with keeping the deceitful technique, and finally confesses the truth to Paula (the owner of the mix) what has occurred. Paula, further touched by Moni's integrity and love for Maggerli, chooses to take action that will bring in regards to a happy ending for everyone. Johanna Spyri (1827-1901) was a Swiss children's publisher, best known for her novel Heidi. Her experiences are heavily affected by her own life and the region of Switzerland where she grew up.
