Matt Dojny's "You Will be the Stepson" is one storyline told three various ways. Dojny uses "variants on a style, like movements in a symphony, or parallel universes, existing side by side but never intersecting," writes Halimah Marcus, co-editor of Electric Books, in her introduction this problem. "The beginning to 'You Will be the Stepson' tips the [listener] off to the elements that will appear in all three tales included herein: a cancer-ridden stepfather and his stepson, a bi-cycle and a firearm, and the anxious need for an apology, 'credited to the problem with the ant.'"
