A meteorite has crashed near a small farm western of Arkham, Massachusetts and bizarre things begin to take place. The life push seems to be being drained from living microorganisms nearby the well. The storyplot is being advised with a surveyor who is surveying the region prior to a damn being built that will flood the region with a lake. The problem is, the "thing" lives in the water of the well.
