Once upon a period - I had been in the second grade at the rural Mission Point one-room schoolhouse near Cataldo, Idaho in 1936. Our truly wonderful young teacher for all those 8 levels was Neglect Martha Peschel. One morning she announced that an older gentleman, who was a professional Tale Teller, would check us out that evening. When he came he strolled to leading of our course and was created. He removed his suit coat, smiled broadly and proceeded to state nice words about us, our little school, and our lovely teacher; we thus liked him just fine, even before he started out his story. I can't remember what his tale was about, what I really do clearly remember is the strong impression he made on me. Wow! What a job. What a career. What a way to have; just travel from school to school, giggle at and speak to kids, get some good fun questions, some applause, and an invitation to come back. How could life get any much better than that? I informed my mother about him and of my objective to emulate this amazing man. Mother, and later an English teacher in senior high school, gently discussed that my "Hero" was a volunteer, a retired person, who made a few local performances to amuse and entertain children, and do this as an work of love, not your money can buy. Nut products! So...I eventually went into business to aid my children, to be genuine about my career, and try forgetting about the storyline Teller.
