Jen Minkman was created in the Netherlands in 1978. Although she's always written tales in Dutch, the poems and lyrics she writes are almost specifically in English. The aborigines of Australia use Thinking songs or Songlines to find their way across great expanses of land. Words in these tracks summarize natural landmarks originally created by the gods in music, and the tracks must be sung regularly in order to keep the land alive. Similarly, the poems in this audiobook indicate my walk of life and really should be paid attention to in order to keep my spirit alive and help me find my way.
