Cold Safe-keeping, Alaska, is a remote fishing outpost where salmonberries sparkle each day frost and where you just might capture a King Salmon if you're Zen enough to wait for it. Settled in 1935 by Norse fishermen who liked to thin dip in its natural hot springs, the town enjoyed success in the middle-20th hundred years, at the height of the frozen fish boom. Kilometers is a physician's helper and the closest thing to a health care provider this aspect of Sitka. But Clive doesn't realize the difficulty he's delivering home. He's reformed now, and his aspiration is to open a bar-slash-church (a Cool Safe-keeping ordinance requires there to be as much churches around as there are bars). Clive's vengeful old business partner is hot on his heels, a stick-in-the-mud Talk about Trooper is dying to bust Clive for narcotics, and, to complicate everything, Clive might be going insane - currently, he's been experiencing animals speaking with him. Will his appearance in Cold Safe-keeping be a breath of fresh air for the sleepy, depopulated town? Or does it turn the whole place upside-down?
